Alex has some regrets about getting sidetracked, but Zaheen reassures him that Kaz seems to be having fun at this moment. I’m sure Kaz would have been welcome to hang out with them while Alex asked Zaheen about her study abroad experience, but he ended up wandering away. Was this just because he felt like a third wheel, or is it more because Kaz feels uncomfortable hearing Alex talk about school and his plans for the future? The guys haven’t really talked much yet (that we’ve seen) about their aspirations.
Either way, Kaz seems to have found a good distraction from the serious talk… right?
