Kind of a rough one here, sorry. Kaz is feeling self-conscious and anxious because he’s comparing himself to not just the students here, but Alex too. It might be a little unrealistic to have everyone talking about plans for their future at an end of the semester student gathering, but I intended it more as that these are the kinds of conversations that Kaz is fixating on.
I have my Patreon paused for this month, so if you’re interested in joining, it will start up again at the end of April.
Next post: (Apr. 24) Kaz makes some friends?
If you’re impatient for more, I have the first 12 pages up on Patreon at the $8 tier currently if you want to get a headstart, along with a bunch of previews at the $1 tier.

Page transcript:
Kaz, narrating: I felt like such a loser.
Background conversations: …about to graduate…
…He’s a genius! I’m sure he’s going to land a great job…
…She’s working as a software engineer now…
…I’m so proud of my girlfriend, man…
…Accepted to grad school…
…With that kind of degree, you could make six figures, easy…
Kaz, narrating: What was I even doing here? What could a guy like Alex see in an idiot like me?
This one really resonates deep. You hear how successful everyone is around you and how their future is bright, but how can you measure up to what they have knowing you probably don’t have it? Do hope Kaz will be alright soon.
Thank you! You hit the nail on the head.
